The ‘Meet the Bard’ workshop was fantastic. Each and every child was enthusiastic with the drama and fully engaged in the task/activities. Our English focus has been on Romeo and Juliet for a couple of weeks now and this was a perfect, kinaesthetic way for the children to develop their understanding of the feelings/emotions of the characters further.
In addition, this has been a great opportunity for us to see the children in a different light in preparation for the End of Key Stage 2 performance by Y5/Y6. There were a couple of children that we wouldn’t have believed would have excelled as much as they did which was lovely to see. We can’t thank you enough.
